In the Philippines, the Toyota Fortuner is one of the most popular SUVs because of its affordability, its wide space, and ability to transport more than four people at once. It is perfect for road trips or going to a distant place with your friends and family.
Speaking of cars, have you ever experienced feeling amazed over a fictional character’s car? Sure the movie or TV characters can wow us with their looks, cool personality or gadgets. However, have you stopped to think about where would they be if it wasn’t for their cars? Would they be able to save people from a bank robbery or their leading lady when she is in distress? Also, how amazing would it be if we get a chance to drive their cars? Without further ado, here is a list of the coolest fictional cars that you’d surely want for yourself.
1. Optimus Prime
This list cannot begin without the one and only Optimus Prime. The benevolent leader of the Autobots from the world-renowned Transformers franchise transforms from a badass robot into an equally badass truck. The Peterbilt 379 truck has Prime’s signature blue and red painting with the slick blue flames by the truck’s hood. Aside from his transformation abilities, Optimus Prime has a heart of gold, values and respects all life forms, has all of the Autobots under his command and can go against powerful beings like Megatron and The Fallen. Oh, and he is voiced by the one and only Peter Cullen. What’s not to like?
Not a lot of people consider Volkswagen Beetles as racecars but Herbie is the most special Beetle so far. This car does not have any cool features like a futuristic car but the adorable personality and excellent humor made up for it. Herbie is also an equivalent to a dog; he is lovable, adorable, cuddly and willing to protect his loved ones no matter what. Don’t those headlight eyes look extremely cute?
3. The Batmobile
Batman’s Batmobile is no doubt the coolest vehicle in the superhero universe. Taking it out for a ride would be awesome—if you can handle Bruce Wayne’s stern expression afterwards. Christopher Nolan’s version of the Batmobile for the Dark Knight trilogy comes with machine guns, rock-hard armor, and remote control capabilities. Not to mention propane tanks that fuel a built-in rocket engine. Yes, definitely badass.
4. James Bond’s Aston Martin
Sean Connery’s silver Aston Martin DB5 changed the fictional car world forever. Its features became a spy car staples: ejector seats, guns, and oil slick release. We have to thank the Bond cars for starting the trend. The Aston Martin is sleek and very beautiful; definitely one of the best looking fictional cars.
The Knight Industries Two Thousand (or Three Thousand if you are watching the updated series), is an intelligent automobile that is designed to keep its owner safe at all times/ it can see, think, talk, drive itself, and remember things. It also has a parachute, police lights, grappling hook, lasers, and a surveillance system to spy on people. With all of these features, the KITT is definitely a sweet ride.
