Google+ Plus Can Now Add Custom URL Names in Pages and Profile Name

Since the release of the Google+ Plus int the public, you have noticed that there is still something missing in the Google Social Network, and that is the Custom URL or Vanity name which is already available in most popular social media sitest such as facebook.
From Google source person Saurabh Sharma in his post https://plus.google.com/109179785755319022525/posts/aWREtiDhse2 announced that they are introducing or finally implementing the custom URL to better find the product or person much easier and recognize the brand directly in the browser URL.
“Custom URLs will also be available to people and pages worldwide, At first, we’re introducing custom URLs to a limited number of verified profiles and pages. But over time we plan to offer custom URLs to many more brands and individuals”
So I assume the they will be implemented by Google+ account first for big companies to avoid any conflicts, product, or service infringement issues.
Hope they will release this soon as to catch up with the top social network and have a better visibility of the account or product page not just in google+ page but in overall search results.
Google Pixel 4a with punch-hole display rumors and leaks images online

Renders of the Google Pixel 4a surfaced last year. Now alleged live images of the phone have surfaced on a private Facebook group showing off the punch-hole display, square camera module, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a small bezel below the screen.
Another image shows 64GB storage, and a rear case made of fabric with Google logo. Based on earlier rumors the Pixel 4a is said to sport a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch flat LCD screen with thick bezels around the display and is expected to be smaller in comparison to Pixel 3a. It is said to feature a 3.5mm audio jack, bottom-ported speaker grill and a USB Type-C port.
It is said to be powered by Snapdragon 7 series Mobile Platform. Since Google I/O has been cancelled, the company might introduce the Pixel 4a via online post sometime in Q2 or hold a separate event later.

Google Gboards customised emoji Emoji Kitchen

In case you thought there just is no emoji to express what you are feeling at a moment, maybe Google’s new Emoji Kitchen on the Gboard can help. The new feature, currently in Gboard’s beta app, takes your favorite emoji and mixes them into customised stickers, giving rise to many more emoji that can be express your emotion perfectly.
Google is calling this feature “Emoji Kitchen” as it believes it is a place where users can create “recipes” of expression with the ingredients being their favourite emoji. To use the feature, users can tap on emoji and Google’ Emoji Kitchen will reveal a number of customised emoji that will be combined with other emoji.
For example, if the emoji with the combo hat is selected, Google will suggest monkey cowboy, ghost cowboy, laughing cowboy, kissy cowboy, in love cowboy, pleading cowboy and even pensive cowboy.
It was just last month when Unicode released its Emoji 13.0 with 117 new emoji. Apparently Google feels that is just not enough emoji in the world for users. Users will be able to use the feature in most communication apps such as Gmail, Messages by Google, Messenger, Snapchat, Telegram, WhatsApp and more.

Google Search How to Recharge Your Phone Number

Further expanding its capabilities, Google has now launched a new service in India through which you can compare prepaid plans and recharge your mobile number, directly from the Google Search. In this article, let’s have a look at how to recharge your prepaid mobile number easily via Google.
Recharge Mobile Number Using Google Search
Besides the ability to do calculations, test internet speed, check match scores, and more, Google now lets you discover, compare, and recharge prepaid mobile plans using a simple search on the platform. It not only allows users to recharge their own number but also facilitates recharging other person’s prepaid plans without any hassles. You’ll need the payment apps on your phone, though.
As of now, the service is available only for signed-in Android users in India. That said, it supports all major telecom operators and third-party payment services in the country.
Steps to Recharge Mobile Number via Google Search on Android
1] Open Google Search or Chrome on Android. Make sure to sign in with your Google account if not already.
2] Now, there’s no particular toggle to activate the feature. Instead, you need to search for terms like “mobile recharge,” “prepaid mobile recharge,” “SIM recharge,” and other related keywords.
3] Once you initiate the search, you’ll see a dialog box named Mobile Recharge, embedded right above the search results.
4] Enter your details in the box, such as the phone number, telecom operator, and operator circle. Google will automatically retrieve the mobile number and other info for those who have linked it with the signed-in account.
5] Click on the ‘Browse Plans‘ button. On the next screen, you’ll see a list of prepaid plans for your mobile number, alongside the maximum possible discount or cashback. Select the one you want, and it’ll show you all eligible offers from payment platforms, including Google Pay, FreeCharge, Paytm, and MobiKwik.
6] Click on the payment app of your choice and complete the transaction. Once the recharge gets processed, you’ll see customer support information about the same. You can tap on Back to Google to return to Google Search.
Wrapping Up
So this was a quick guide on how you can recharge your mobile number with a simple Google search on Android. Currently, the service is limited to Airtel, Vodafone-Idea, Jio, and BSNL operators and works only on Android. In the coming time, we expect Google to expand the service to iOS and add more operators and payment services.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on Google adding more and more services to its search engine? Let us know in the comments below. Moreover, feel free to reach us in case of any doubts or queries.
