Now packed with new advanced and safety features, The All-New CBR500R displays sporty performance, great handling, and a super sports image due to its race bike styling. It also caters to all riders since it is expressway legal, making it ideal for your on-road leisure rides.

Incredibly advanced features

For better handling, this sports bike now features an inverted front suspension of Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF BP) for excellent control, which provides a sports riding experience when turning or braking from high speed. It also has lightweight 5-spoke sporty wheels for incredible running performance.

What’s more, The All-New CBR500R has a negative-display LCD meter for easy access to all the needed information while on the road. It contains dual trip meters, fuel level, consumption gauges, gear position, and shift-up indicators. It also includes all-LED lighting for the headlight, taillight, and turn light to optimize efficiency and safety, create less drain on the engine, and give this big bike an excellent sporty image.

Excellent safety features

To keep riders’ safety while on the road, The All-New CBR500R is built with a 296mm dual-disc front brake with a radial-mount caliper for high braking power, 2-channel Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) for confident braking during emergency situations, slipper/assist clutch to lessen the lever effort by 45 percent, and an emergency stop signal (ESS) to notify the vehicle behind in the event of sudden stops.

‘From Street to Sport’

Equipped with 471cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC parallel twin and euro 5 emission compliant engine, The All-New CBR500R is expressway legal, suitable for alternative commuting. It also provides excellent sporty performance for an on-road adventure. With the maximum power output of 35kW at 8,500rpm, a torque of 43.2Nm at 6,500rpm, and a fuel efficiency of 28.6 km/L, it promises to satisfy riders’ need for a high-performance drive.

With aggressive super sports styling and new graphics, this sports bike also comes in two stylish colors, the Grand Prix Red and the Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. It is now available at all Honda Big Bike dealerships nationwide starting this November 15, 2021, with a suggested retail price of PHP 364,000.

Imagine experiencing the thrill of watching your favorite motorcycle racers competing for a podium. Imagine feeling the pulse of a Honda motorcycle as you race through the finish line like a MotoGP champion.

Now, what would you say if you were told that you can get that excitement and thrill by simply using your smartphone wherever you are, no matter who you are with? Awesome, right?

This is exactly what this new, free digital game app, called Honda One Make Race (HOMR), is all about! It’s the newest and one-of-its-kind app recently launched by Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country.

As HPI does not want to limit the excitement the motorsports can offer amongst its patrons, HPI initiated the Honda One Make Race so racing fans, motorcycle enthusiasts, and the likes will still feel the thrill and excitement despite the limitations brought by the safety protocols to avoid the spread of COVID-19. In addition, this game aims to connect and inspire all aspiring motorcycle riders in the future.

For starters, it’s a 3D mobile single and multiplayer online racing game that allows you to experience the thrill of riding just like your favorite motorcycle racers. It allows anyone to immerse in a virtual racetrack and ride their all-time favorites—Supra GTR150, The All-New CBR150R, The New CBR500R, and The All-New CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.

The Honda One Make Race has simple but fun gameplay suitable for ages seven and up. It has three levels, easy, medium, and hard, and yes, each level displays different circuits. Its controls are highly responsive and easy to navigate. Each round contains three challenging laps that will test your skill as a racer.

The mobile game also makes for a perfect way of having fun with friends in the ‘new normal,’ since up to 10 players can play it. Players can also experience upgrading their own paddock and customize the speed, acceleration, braking, and handling of their chosen motorcycle to help them win the race. Several paddocks are available in the app to display your motorcycle or share your customized motorcycle with other players.

The Honda One Make Race will be available, for free, on Google Play Store starting October 31, 2021.
