Consumers are making important choices so they can live seamlessly and productively in the new normal. And central to sustaining a higher level of flexibility for working, learning, and maintaining a digital lifestyle is the availability of reliable connectivity.
As a result, having a fast and stable broadband connection, convenient Internet line application and installation processes, and a seamless plug-and-play experience have become necessary in choosing a space suitable for homes, offices, or both.
With this in mind, leading digital solutions platform Globe and real estate developer King Properties (KP) have joined hands to redefine modern living for young urban professionals and their families in Cebu.
The soon-to-rise The Highline by Avenir combines the home office concept with services and amenities into one vertical development. One of the project’s highlights is the two-year free fiber-fast broadband service powered by Globe.
“We believe telecom should be treated as a utility service, similar to power and water, to meet our customers’ demand for faster and more easily accessible internet. This is why from the beginning, we already partnered with Globe to ensure that readily available broadband connectivity is available to our customers when they move into their new homes,” said Jason King, KP President.
Globe works with property developers even at the planning stage to provide true modern living, a better quality of life, and rewarding experiences for property owners.
“We are excited over this partnership with King Properties. It is our thrust to help build intelligent communities to ensure that we can serve the ever-changing digital needs of our customers. With our fiber technology and other digital solutions, Globe can elevate communities to a standard comparable to other first world countries,” said Michelle Ora, Site Lifecycle Management Services Vice President at Globe.
The Highline by Avenir is a 23-story residential building in Mandaue City, Cebu. It features small office and home office units designed to fit the lifestyle and hectic schedule of the young urban professionals for a healthy work-life balance.
The building’s unique architecture and interior design are also embedded with sustainability-anchored concepts such as open roof decks, pocket gardens, integrated water efficiency and quality monitoring systems to help create a more liveable urban environment, making it a BERDE 4 star-rated project. The BERDE Green Building Rating System was developed under the BERDE Program, which aims to assess, measure, monitor, and certify the performance of green building projects above and beyond existing national and local building and environmental laws, regulations, and mandatory standards.
Key Globe officers led by Ora and Senior Advisor for Broadband Business Danny Theseira, as well as Globe Property and Site Acquisition Head Bernard Santos attended the recent groundbreaking ceremony and the ceremonial contract signing with King Properties. KP is the real estate arm of Juanito King and Sons, which has already built 11 properties in Cebu and the Visayas.
