Apple recently announced the newest iPad Model or should I say buff up version. Yes, it is not actually new in display, size(physical), processors , etc. The only thing that changes is its memory, YES, only memory.
“With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs.” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing
The announcement is the latest release for Apple after the seemingly heartbroken (for Apple) announcement of Samsung’s flexible screen display prototype to the public. Not really an effective counteract eh. Hope Apple is not running out of ideas anymore due to this new announcement.
Pricing & Availability
The new 128GB versions of the fourth generation iPad will be available starting Tuesday, February 5, in black or white, for a suggested retail price of $799 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi model and $929 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
Price is also very high for just a memory upgrade, so if you already have an existing iPad, better keep it there because an upgrade really just does not add value to your current tablet and your pocket. And the last thing, need more memory? better take advantage of the current cloud storage technology available out there.
