Bigger and more powerful iPad
It comes with a bigger 10.2-inch Retina display with 3.5 million pixels in total. It also runs with the A10 Fusion chip paired with 32GB/128GB storage.
Moreover, the new iPad 10.2 highlights Smart connector support designed to let you connect an external smart keyboard ala iPad Air.
It also has the usual Touch ID (AKA fingerprint scanner), WiFi, 4G LTE, and Apple Pencil support.
The tablet comes in Silver, Space Gray, and Gold colorways.
It runs with iOS 13 that has support for external flash drives. Yay.
Apple claimed that this is the tablet for “Powerful Multitasking” and “Creative Capabilities”.
In the US, the price starts at USD 329 for the WiFi-only version and USD 459 for the WiFi with 4G edition.
Shipping begins on September 30.
