Sharp has announced the latest models of the #AQUOSseries, the high-end model R series #AQUOSR9 and the basic model Wish series #AQUOSwish4 on May 8, 2024.
AQUOS R9
The AQUOS R9 is equipped with the chipset "Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3". For heat treatment, the AQUOS series has adopted a vapor chamber for the first time, maintaining high performance for a long time. The main camera is equipped with an optical image stabilization function and a Leica-supervised camera (sensor size 1/1.55 inch). It also supports a voicemail summary function by generative AI.
AQUOS wish4
The AQUOS wish4 supports the durability performance of the US Department of Defense procurement standard "MIL-STD-810H", and is equipped with functions that can be used without hesitation, such as hand soap washing. In addition, the main camera of about 50.1 million pixels can easily shoot immediately with the "AI Auto" mode that automatically selects the shooting mode according to the shooting scene. The design has been renewed and finished in a design that combines simplicity and presence.
Both models will be released after mid-July and early July respectively. They will be sequentially deployed in Asia, including Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore. Hopefully they will also be released in the Philippines.
