GCash Partners with Queen Bee Capital to Enable Easy Remittances from Japan

New #GCash partnership makes sending money easier for OFWs in Japan

In a bid to provide greater convenience for overseas Filipinos, GCash has officially partnered with Queen Bee Capital, a leading Japanese financial services provider, to simplify cross-border transactions. Through this collaboration, Filipinos in Japan can now seamlessly remit funds directly to their families’ GCash accounts in the Philippines or cash in to their own GCash wallets using their +81 numbers or Philippine mobile numbers.

Queen Bee Capital Co., Ltd. (QBC) is a Japanese financial services company specializing in cross-border payment solutions. It operates the PayForex platform, which enables seamless international money transfers from Japan to various countries. Since its launch in Japan in 2011, PayForex has built a strong reputation for reliability and brand recognition over the years. With extensive experience and a solid network across Asia and other parts of the world, the company continues to expand its global services. Under the agreement, GCash has been integrated into PayForex, enabling OFWs to transfer money digitally, eliminating the need to visit traditional remittance centers physically.

Many Filipinos in Japan already have their Japanese bank accounts linked to PayForex. In addition to bank transfers, customers can also choose to pay conveniently at convenience stores. With these flexible payment options, they can now securely and conveniently transfer money directly to their families' GCash accounts in the Philippines. Their loved ones can instantly use the funds at over 5.2 million QR merchant partners, 520 GLife partner merchants, and 339,000 cash-in and cash-out (CICO) outlets nationwide.

"At GCash, we prioritize financial inclusion for all Filipinos, whether in the Philippines or abroad. Our partnership with QueenBee Capital empowers OFWs in Japan to send secure and fast remittances to their loved ones. Their families can seamlessly use the funds for daily needs, investments, insurance, bills, and more—all within the GCash app," said GCash International general manager Paul Albano.

As a champion of financial inclusion, GCash continues to break barriers in digital finance, ensuring that every Filipino—whether at home or abroad—has access to fast, secure, and seamless financial services. By expanding its global partnerships, GCash reinforces its commitment to making finance accessible to all, helping millions of Filipinos take full control of their financial future.
