OPPO recently release its new A-Series in launching the OPPO A57. It was release sometime last year which was its predecessor and lower specs compared to the OPPO A57. Now this phone boasts a lot of additional features that is not present in the previous model.
This time, the A57 features the sleek and thinner version with the specifications that fits in a midrange phone, but it has its own remarkable specs that can match a flagship smartphone a lower cost.
Battery
One highlight of the new OPPO A57 is the 5000mAH battery capacity which you can use the phone all day from work to entertainment without the worry of getting a low batt. Aside from the long lasting power, it can charge super-fast with the 33W SUPERVOOC, this is evident when I play mobile legends using the A57 where the phone doesn’t heat that much and performs at its optimum performance within hours of playing.
Hardware
After I unboxed the OPPO A57, the one I noticed is the sleek back phone, which looks very professional at 1st look. I actually got the black colored unit which is the best color for this smartphone (in two colors: Glowing Green and Glowing Black.). The feeling is also solid with the hinges just right and the black cover feel is not slippery since it is in matte finished. It also comes with a free jelly case that protects the phone at the start and a screen protector already installed in the panel that protects it from scratches.
On top of that, it is powered by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Which I think is enough for students and people on the go, you can also put additional SD card if you want more memory. For the processor it is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 Processor which can run decent games even those with high demanding graphics games like Genshin Impact with little problem. Display
The OPPO A57 has a 6.56 inc HD+ LCD Display with 1612 x 720 pixels screen resolution, 60Hz Refresh Rate, and 60Hz Touch Sampling Rate. It compromise a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, 89.8% Screen-to-body ratio, and 600 nits Peak Brightness. The A57 screen is perfect for viewing your favorite shows on Netflx or Youtube, browsing into your favorite social networks like Facebook, Twitter of Instagram. The OPPO A57 can do all these functions without any problems.
Features
The OPPO A57 has an integrated 8-megapixel front camera and 13 megapixel back camera and 2 megapixel depth camera that captures both photos and videos clearly without any gimmicky explanations. I have been using the auto camera settings in capturing pictures and video and the output result is just fine for a midrange phone provided that the subject is well illuminated and clear.
Conclusion
The OPPO A57 is a reliable smartphone that has the features that can do everything you do on a smartphone, whether you are a student or a working professional. It can play all games that are in the Google Playstore, play movies with online streaming sites like Netflix, and swipe through your social media networks like FB & Tiktok. A solid all-rounder that is not that pricy and contains features that a complete daily smartphone companion should have.
